On February 13, 2025, TM Global organised its Tech Day event, focusing primarily on GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
Held at the Sheraton Hotel in Petaling Jaya, the event attracted over 60 companies, including telcos, data centre providers, IT service providers, call centres, infrastructure providers, and international customers operating in Malaysia.
Hazrilhasnie Hashim, Vice President of Product and Marketing, shared TM Global’s vision for revolutionising AI infrastructure in his opening speech, followed by the launch of Tech Day. He highlighted how TM GPUaaS empowers customers with on-demand access to advanced GPU resources without the need for heavy capital investment. Supported by TM’s nationwide fibre-optic network and advanced edge computing facilities, this seamless integration of high-performance GPUs with ultra-fast connectivity paves the way for more sophisticated AI applications.
The event featured insightful presentations on TM GPUaaS by our product expert, Idham Adnan. Ravi Sanjeev, Senior Director, Supermicro and David Cook, CEO of Radian Arc are among TM’s technology partners who took the stage to discuss on GPU’s infrastructure requirements, real-world AI use cases and go-to-market strategies.
Idham emphasised the Sovereign AI Infrastructure offered by TM Global, where the GPU is hosted entirely in Malaysia. He also outlined three main approaches customers could leverage TM GPUaaS, whether to enhance internal productivity and efficiency, train their own AI models or offer and resell TM’s GPU solutions to their end customers.
A key highlight of the event was the 3D holographic display, which allowed attendees to interact with an AI-powered avatar trained using GPU technology. Guests also had the opportunity to explore AI applications developed by the TM AI Centre of Excellence.
The Tech Day reflects TM Global’s efforts to strengthen its position as a trusted leader in GPUaaS solutions while demonstrating its capabilities in delivering next-gen AI and high-performance computing technologies.
